Shipping, documents and import notes
Larger orders usually travel by sea to ports such as New York and New Jersey, Houston or Los Angeles and Long Beach, or by air freight when time matters. Samples and small lots go by international courier. We prepare the commercial invoice and packing list for every export shipment.
Textiles sold in the USA must meet US labelling rules, which include fibre content, country of origin and care instructions, and the importer is responsible for these. Duty and tax depend on the product and how it is classified, so check with your customs broker. Tell us the fabric details you need on your labels and we will share the composition we have on record.
Samples and payment
